There’s nothing like 90 products, 18 months of research and 820 volunteers taking 5,600 before and after photos to find the beauty industry’s anti-aging superstars! Good Housekeeping magazine just released its first ever Anti-Aging Awards and the level of research is amazing. I am especially impressed that products were tested for several weeks since results don’t happen overnight.
Check out the October issue on newstands or the Good Housekeeping Web site for the complete list of winners and honorable mentions in 12 categories.
I am most excited to try…
Best Eye Creams, which showed improvements in crow’s feet, fine lines, puffiness, dark circles and sagging lids. The Winner: Olay PRO-X Eye Restoration Complex (drugstores). A close second at Honorable Mention is Patricia Wexler M.D. Intensive 3-in-1 Eye Cream (I use and love Wexler, available at Bath & Body Works, but haven’t tried this cream).
Best Body Lotions that firm, smooth, even out skin and enhance radiance. The Winner: Fresh Sugar Acai Age-Delay Body Cream (Sephora). At $65, this is pricey but if it delivers on its promises sign me up. Honorable mention is Olay Body Quench Plus Age Defying Body Lotion (drugstores), which at just $7 is so worth trying.
