Bangles are a big deal in fashion. And an armful is sexy. But the clang? Not so much.

My chocolate brown bangles with sterling silver

I found a fabulous set of soft bangles perusing a friend’s jewelry site Beryl Blush Blonde. This best-selling set features 25 coil rubber bangles with caps in sterling silver or gold-plating for extra special details. Price is $65.

As a jewelry rule, I prefer fine metals because they keep the lustre much longer than costume pieces, so I love the use of silver and gold.

Slip on one set or stack a few for high-impact. They are lightweight, very comfortable to wear and available in basic to vibrant colors.

Dionne, the Atlanta-based designer behind the Beryl Blush Blonde line, is known for modern and vintage pieces that make the outfit. Her collection can be found online and in specialty boutiques around the country.

Mally Beauty Ultimate Performance 2-Piece Long Wear Lip System

Mally Lip System in Sweet Pink

First, this is a loooong name for a product. Second, the Sweet Pink color is gorgeous. As you know I am partial to pink lipstick and have a drawer FULL, but swear this one’s different:-)

The color is medium-toned with a frost that leans to Barbie pink without being too much. It would look so pretty on many skin hues, I am showing on my friend Karin with an olive-complexion.

How it works? Line and fill lips with the creamy pencil that automatically sharpens. Top with the gloss for medium to full coverage.

There is a downside: the wear is disappointing and lasts no longer than normal lip color.

The lip system retails for $22.72 at QVC and comes in 5 colors: Sweet Pink, Spice, Shimmering Mauve, Crimson and Royal Wine.

  1. Loving the bangles =)

I totally agree with you about accessorizing..
Bangles you have simply “spice” things up a little without over-doing it..

    Effordlessly chic..

  2. I have a similar set of soft bangles. They look almost identical but I got mine from Avon. And that shade of pink is so cute.

    • Thanks for writing 🙂 I don’t often think of Avon for jewelry, but will check out their pieces
